Ather Energy appoints Subrata Mitra as Head of Govt Relations & Policy

Energy, India’s leading electric scooter manufacturer, has announced the
appointment of Subrata Mitra as the Head of Government Relations and Policy.
With over 25 years of experience in public affairs, advocacy, government
relations, and public policy, Subrata brings a wealth of expertise and a proven
track record in building and managing relationships with the Indian government.
In
his previous role as the Head of Government and Industry Relations at Ericsson
India, a global ICT solutions provider, Subrata demonstrated exceptional
leadership by overseeing government relations and public affairs strategies. He
successfully managed a team responsible for shaping the company's public policy
agenda and navigating the regulatory environment across a wide range of
priorities. Prior to his tenure at Ericsson, Subrata held senior positions at
renowned organizations such as Oracle, IBM, IFS AB, and Huawei.

Subrata
holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Management Development
Institute (MDI) in Gurgaon and a Bachelor's degree from Osmania University.
Furthermore, he has achieved distinction in the Graduate Certificate Course in
Public Policy from the prestigious Takshashila Institution. His strong network
across key government ministries, industry associations, trade chambers, and
think tanks enables him to effectively drive public affairs initiatives and
foster collaboration among various stakeholders.
